Management of emergency cases: Have done emergency duties during my training (5-6/month) and have done several emergency cases including trauma successfully.

Management of difficult airway: have experience in arranging difficult airway cart and have done several fiberoptic intubations in cases such as orophyngeal tumours, TM joint ankylosis, Limited mouth opening(submucosal fibrosis) etc.

Invasive procedures and interventions: have performed and assisted several central venous cannulations with anatomical and ultrasound guided techniques, arterial cannulations in adult and pediatric patients.

During my employment as Senior resident( 01/08/11 to 23/06/12) at Tata Memorial Hospital, I have further enriched my pediatric and adult anesthesia experience in management of cancer related medical and surgical complications in the ICU and operation theatre under supervision and independently. I gained further experience in ICU procedures such as securing invasive monitoring, principles of mechanical ventilation, arterial blood gases interpretation and treatment, CRRT etc. I also got experience in the pain management of oncological patients of acute and chronic causes.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS LEARNT DURING FELLOWSHIP IN DIFFICULT AIRWAY.

During my fellowship I have successfully handled several anticipated and unanticipated difficult airway cases.like morbid obesity, facial trauma, Syndromic facies etc. Handled instruments like Bonfils rigid scope, video laryngoscope, Fibre-optic bronchoscope. Assisted and done a few Percutaneous Tracheostomy in Intensive care unit.Neuromuscular monitoring in every intubated patient was a new experience for me.I have further learnt the art of managing ENT and pediatric cases with supraglottic airway devices.I gained experience in managing anaesthesia for Robotic surgeries ( urology and Gynaecology). Further I did Ultrasound guided regional anaesthesia which included Cervical plexus block for awake carotid artery surgeries and all upper and lower limb blocks with very good success rate.Ultrasound guided central venous cannulation,peripheral venous and arterial cannulation was also learnt during this period.
