Dr. Pushpak Chirmade

Dr. Pushpak is a super-specialist in the field of ONCOLOGY & HEMATO-ONCOLOGY. He has completed his D.M in MEDICAL ONCOLOGY from Asia’s eminent BJ Medical College & Ahmedabad Civil hospital, Gujarat Cancer Research Institute. He is a GOLD MEDALIST in his M.D in Internal Medicine finals. He has done his MBBS from prestigious LTMMC and LTMGH, Sion hospital, Mumbai. He has also received the prestigious title of ESMO Certified Medical Oncologist (ECMO) given by the European Society of Medical Oncology, Switzerland.

He is associated with us as an empanelled Medical Oncologist, Advisory and Tumour Board member.

He is an expert in the management of all types of hematological and oncological disorders. And is a specialist in chemotherapy, targeted therapy, hormonal therapy, and immunotherapy.

Dr. Pushpak Chirmade has experience in treating patients of Oncology (Cancerous lesion in any part of the human body), Haematology (Blood diseases and blood cancers), and Bone Marrow Transplantation (BMT). His thorough knowledge with Radiation Oncology and Surgical Oncology and his clinical experience of more than a decade makes him an important member of our Tumour Board.

He has enthusiastic concern for the management of Breast Cancer and other gynecological malignancies.

He is a member of prestigious associations like the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC)

He is a Co-Founder & Director at Oncura Hematology & Oncology Care, Navi-Mumbai He is affiliated as a Consultant Oncologist at a few of the renowned hospitals like Jupiter hospital, Thane and MGM New Bombay Hospital, Vashi

He has reported many rare cases in national publications like Primary pleuropulmonary synovial sarcoma with brain metastasis in a pediatric patient Solitary plasmacytoma of bone involving spine in a 12-year-old boy, Primary Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma of the Breast, Primary Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma of the Breast, 1Primary intracranial granulocytic sarcoma

He has published numerous articles in national and international journals and has also presented oral papers and posters at various conferences

He was awarded  “Best oral paper presentation -Effect of hyperthermic intrathoracic chemotherapy (HITHOC) on the malignant pleural effusion- A systematic review and meta-analysis” at Hyperthermia 2017- 9th Biennial Conference on Hyperthermia, Ahmedabad. And delivered a critically acclaimed oral paper presentation on Incidence, Clinical Outcomes, and Prognostic significance of FLT3 mutations in de-novo non-APL Acute Myeloid Leukemia- A study from Western India” at 2nd Indian Cancer Congress, Bengaluru, 2017.

He was felicitated with Dr. T.B. Patel Young oncology research scientist award 2017 – SILVER MEDAL for best research paper presentation. He is a university gold medallist in his postgraduate studies of M.D in Internal Medicine. He has been the winner in many intercollegiate quiz competitions during his academic tenure.
